Based on the Fringe

The Garden of Unearthly Delights, Fringe 2017. Taken by C. Rabbah.

Yep, its that time of year again where us locals complain about the traffic by day and talk about how cultured we are by night.

The Adelaide Fringe has come a long way since its inception in 1964. With this years shows exceeding 1000, it has become the largest Arts Festival in the Southern Hemisphere!!

As a local Adelaide business, we get to meet a lot of the artists as they come in for any printing they may need. It’s a great opportunity for us not only to support our home town but the artists themselves. We get to hear loads of stories about their craft and where they have performed, and an insight of what its like to be a performer. Whether they are from interstate or overseas, each artist is not only amazing at what they do- but they actually really love being in Adelaide!

Gin and Phonic Pop up Bar, Fringe 2017. Taken by C. Rabbah.

We just love the vibe that encapsulates this city during the Fringe festival. The little pop-up bars and eateries that line the lane-ways, the colors, music and street parties, and most of all the fact that we get to showcase this darling city of ours. Being based on the fringe of it all in Rundle Mall and King William Street, makes the experience even more enjoyable, as we are in the heart of all the hustle and bustle!

This year we hope to get the chance to catch a show or two- in between printing flyers, brochuresposters and business cards for the very talented artists, some of which come a long way, to perform, for our little town.

So from us to you Happy Fringe Hopping!
