To celebrate the opening of our second #print store in Rundle Mall, our team put together an event for parents and children to enjoy in the summer school holidays. We held two three hour sessions and the artistic flair that was displayed by attendees was amazing!

Upon arrival each child was given a design kit which included a led pencil, ruler, sharpener, black felt tip pen, and some card to practice on. It didn’t take long before their inner artist/designer came out with many wonderful interpretations of current interests, names, patterns and colour combinations.

Our mini designers were in their element with T-shirts being a popular choice using a combination of sponge, spray paint, finger print and stencil art along with stamps and freehand drawing/colouring.

There were also some children that opted to put their design on a mug using the same type of art styles.

One very talented young lady printed her self drawn and created character on her shirt!

In between the hustle and bustle the children and parents enjoyed a drink on us and the children were given a goodie bag when it was time to go.

It was wonderful watching the children’s work come to life! The sense of accomplishment and pride when we handed their t-shirts and mugs over to them was priceless!

Here are some snap shots from the two events, and stay tuned for our next school holidays event!
